Dr. Boyd Murray
Dr Boyd Murray received his BE degree from University of Queensland, his ME degree from University of Technology, Sydney, and his PhD degree from Macquarie University. Throughout his career, he has worked in industry and academia almost entirely on research and design of wireless systems including aircraft MLS (Microwave Landing Systems) for Interscan International, cellular mobile telephone networks for Optus, microwave point-to-point
radio equipment for AWA-Plessey, and MIMO OFDM Wireless LANs for CSIRO. He has published in the academic literature and is an inventor on several wireless patents. He has also done training and lecturing for AWA-Plessey, Nokia Systems, and Macquarie University as well as appearing as a speaker and keynote speaker at numerous conferences, workshops, and other gatherings. Dr Murray is now the founder & principal consultant of Murray Wireless, working with multiple aspects of the Wireless industry.
